Church Staff

Hilltop is made up of many amazing people.  God continues to send us tons of workers all the time with specific gifts for his kingdom.  Below are the paid staff that God has sent us to Hilltop.

Full Time Staff

Diane Grinley - Office Staff

My family and I came to Hilltop in the spring of 2003. Our friend, Aubrey
Davidson, invited us to Friendship Sunday and we immediately felt "at home."
I began working in the office in September 2006. My job description consists
of many things, and I think of it as basically assembling a rubber band ball
out of a pile of rubber bands every week (the rubber bands coming from every
nook & cranny of church life). I primarily work with Jon & the worship team
preparing for Sunday services, answering phones & handling the finances.

Bob & I have been married 18 years and have 2 children (teens!), Kaleigh &
Colin. God blessed me with the family I always wanted and never had growing
up (only I'm the mother!). When we're not "annoying" one another, we're
laughing, as our kids have the greatest senses of humour.

It's a privilege to serve Hilltop & get to know who God brings. It's
humbling to be part of His great work, and I am ever thankful that His
mercies are new every morning. I am also thankful that He loves & uses
broken people like me.

Shayla Cole - Youth Ministry Intern

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have three older brothers, three sisters-in-law, three nieces and two nephews. My family has always been very close. I am currently going into my senior year at Pepperdine University where I am studying psychology with a focus in counseling. I spent my sophomore year abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I finally learned some Spanish and fell in love with the culture and the language. I am involved in Campus Ministry at Pepperdine. During my junior year I served as the missions coordinator, and I will be a small group coordinator next year. Friendships are very important to me and I love meeting new people. I am especially looking forward to spending time with the students at Hilltop this summer. I am excited to get to spend some quality time with them and to grow in my relationship with Christ as I help them to grow as well. It is a huge blessing to be able to join in this ministry. I enjoy Jesus, spontaneous adventures, Latin America, music, books, movies, coffee, road trips, photography... I could really go on for a long time...
