Hilltop Community Church of Christ

The Outreach Ministry is designed to help all of Hilltop reach out to our neighbors in several different ways:

- Live a life that reflects Jesus to people we come in contact with every day - our family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. This is often done one to one or in small group gatherings.

- On a larger scale, reach out with many other Hilltoppers, reaching out to a larger community. This can be done through service projects, parties, athletics, special worship services and more...

The Outreach Ministry Team is called the Action Team - The Action Team is made up of the Hilltop ministers and several Hilltoppers. Together we have developed five outreach strategies.

1. Praying to reach - Praying for our city, leaders, worship times - Asking God to be present and to reach many people.

2. Serving to reach - Serving people and asking people to serve with us to glorify God.

3. Becoming the hands and feet of Jesus to reach - Asking the Lord to use us right where we are to touch people for Christ.

4. Modeling to reach - We want to not only ask people to reach out, but we will reach out first and also side by side with others as they learn to reach out.

5. Developing Leaders to reach - Some Hilltoppers are truly gifted in evangelism. We commit to developing the gifted evangelists by walking with them as they reach out and providing resources and support that are needed.

Any one who is interested in helping other people come to the Lord; anyone who enjoys organizing outreach events; anyone who loves other people so much that they would like to share the Lord with them is invited to be on this team.
